I swished my long, auburn colored tail behind me, flames graciously flaring everywhere. I looked up at the bright, starlit February sky, blinking softly. The past flashed back to me swiftly, making my head spin. My mother and I would watch the sky together... well, when she was alive, that is. When I was 4, my mother was killed in battle with half of the Lava Tribe - another Tribe of Fire Foxes. I was still purely human then, and I knew nothing of such 'Fire Foxes'. For I was living with my Aunt (Who WAS a human. No fox genes) in a house of nuns. I lived a normal human life, until I was 14 years old. My Aunt told me of who my mother really was. 'She was one of the best and most respected Sorceresses of the Tribe of Embers. She was strong. Beautiful. Sweet. And all the Tods loved her. But, one of the members from our Tribe (Who happened to be my father) decided to betray the Tribe, and go get members from the Lava Tribe to form their own little 'pack'. My Tribe ended up battling the little tribe along with what was left Lava Tribe, and we ended up winning. But, my mother had a member of the Lava Tribe turn on her and slit her throat, bringing my Father back to his senses. He went insane, and tried to kill the Tod who killed his beloved Desi(My Mother), but, the Tod ended up killing him instead. After my Aunt finished the story, she gave me the most beautiful necklace, which was filled with powers. It was my mothers, and it means the world to me.' I glanced down at my necklace, which glimmered brightly against my flaming, orange fur. I sighed, letting out a tiny whimper. Hello there. My name is Foxface, but, my Tribe calls me Vixie. I am currently the leader of the Tribe of Embers. I am half human, half fox. I have the agility and speed of a fox, but I think like a human. I am the Heroine in hiding of my city. This is my story.
